Jersey Devil

Jersey Devil

Leeds Devil

A creature that has been described as a winged bipedal horse and said to be spotted in New Jersey and Pennsylvania.

It is said to live in the Pine Barrens in South Jersey.

It’s described as horse-like creature that stands on it’s back legs and has wings. It is said to have a kangaroo or horse-like head, horns, bat-like wings and cloven toes.

The folklore started when a woman named Marry from Estellville, was pregnant and not feeling well, so she cursed the baby and said, “let it be the devil”. The story goes that when the baby was born it had horns, wings and hooves and flew out the chimney into the Pinelands.

Now it is said that it roams the marshes at night and lets out loud screams to keep humans away.

Question to Ponder

  • Is the Jersey Devil just folklore made up to further victimize exhausted pregnant women?
  • What came first, a creature sighting, that the town tried to explain with this story, or the story which caused mass hysteria creating sightings after hearing it?

Here are my UFO Sightings  I have had a couple UFO or UAP sightings. Whatever you want to call them. I am not saying for sure, of course, that they are UFOs. I am just saying, these are the weird unexplained lights I have witnessed in the sky. Sighting 1 I taped this video at about 3am in the skies above Genoa City, Wisconsin. It was July 22, 2012. I went outside to walk my dog who was sick with pancreatic,  and saw this flashing light in the sky that looked like it was coming closer then getting farther. I went and got a friend to come out and watch it with me and this is what we caught on video camera and in pictures. We noticed other lights in the sky too that didn't make sense. There are all the pictures. Here is the video I took. Sorry it was so low quality. Here's the first AUP Here's the second on the same night. Here is the third unexplained light in the sky.  When I upload the pictures to my computer I noticed these weird orbs in the picture while I had my camera...
